Deshaun Watson was sacked 8 times, receivers dropped passes, the offense and special teams each fumbled the football and the Browns defense couldn’t hold a late lead as they lost to the Jets on the road 17-12.

Watson, who was under pressure all game, avoided it midway through the 4th quarter and connected on a touchdown pass of 29 yards to rookie wide receiver Denzel Boston to give the Browns a 12-10 lead with 6:15 left in the game.

However on Cleveland’s next offensive possession they were stopped on 3rd down and punter Corey Bojorquez fumbled a high snap and the Jets recovered setting up a game-winning 22 yard touchdown run by Braeon Allen with 3:15 left in the game.

The Browns offense had the ball 2 more times but was unable to score and the Jets came away with the victory.

Cleveland falls to (2-3) on the year, while New York improves to (2-3).

Next up for the Browns, a Sunday home game against the Baltimore Ravens.
