INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Hurricane Isaias mad landfall yesterday evening and is taking a slightly more southerly track, lowering our rain chances for tonight into tomorrow, but we aren’t completely out of the woods.
TODAY:
The clouds from now post tropical Isaias have already made it to the Hoosier state this morning so expect mostly cloudy to overcast skies for much of today with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. Fair weather for the college football games along with the 8 hour race at IMS today!

TONIGHT:
The evening will start dry but we will be watching as showers try to push into southern Indiana around dinner time. With the southerly track and alot of dry air in place, rain coverage does not look as high as yesterday but we will still have the chance for a few scattered showers overnight especially around and after bed time tonight.

Looks like we may catch a break and stay dry for the Indy 11 game tonight, but rain may try to sneak in around the end of the match.
TOMORROW:
A few lingering, pesky showers are expected tomorrow morning especially for eastern Indiana with most remaining cloudy. The afternoon will feature a fair amount of clouds but some late sunshine is possible for western and central Indiana. Overall rain amounts will be highest across southeast IN where up to a 1/2 inch of rain is possible, much lower the further north you go. Highs will be in the upper 60s o mid 70s.

TOMORROW NIGHT:
Mostly clear and warm with lows in the mid 50s.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny and breezy with highs in the mid 80s. The record in Indianapolis is 86 degrees, the current forecast high is 85 degrees.
7 DAY FORECAST: Still sunny and warm on Tuesday before rain chances and cooler temperatures return to finish out the week. Watching Wednesday or Thursday as our best chance for rain this week.
