A man was fatally shot in West Englewood Thursday afternoon, according to Chicago police.
The 23-year-old man was near an alley in the 6600 block of South Loomis Boulevard at 5:45 p.m. when he was shot several times, police said. He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center where he later died.
No one is in custody, police said.
